Lucas Wessel

Lucas Wessel is a 6 year veteran of the United States Army where he trained on multiple weapons systems and explosive ordnances as a Combat Engineer and an Infantryman. He also served multiple combat tours to the Middle East where he operated as part of various physical security elements such as convoy security, personnel security, and asset recovery security. Lucas became a volunteer fireman for 3 years before becoming a police officer in 2013. He has acquired certifications through Ohio such as Academy Instructor and Field Training Officer. Lucas is a Patrol Officer with experience in covert operations and criminal drug interdiction. He is also an Active Shooter Response Instructor and assists in special tactics training and patrol operations. Lucas continues training in de-escalation techniques and criminal investigations. He also is certified through the State of Ohio as a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students.
